Alicia has been surrounded by fabric from an early age, her Grandmother Laverne was a seamstress. Her Mother Candace also a designer, managed a fabric store in her early years, while toting Alicia along to the store titled Top Stitch in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island . Alicia’s first paying job during high school was at a local fabric store. So as you can imagine textiles and sewing have been a passion of Alicia’s too.
