I have finally gotten around to posting some photos from my daughter’s 7th birthday. We chose a pirate circus theme, mostly because they go well together visually. We had so much fun preparing. We started with a pinterest board to gather ideas and color themes. We then hit our favorite thrift stores and garage sales for related items like Christmas lights and fabrics. We printed out the invites ourselves, along with flags, sails and our treasure map. We made foam monkeys. We took photos of all the kids that arrived in our home made photo booth. And we even had treasure hunt in the back yard where the kids had to follow clues and dig up a treasure chest filled with the party loot. Daddy-oh did a great job putting all the clues around the yard and making sure each of the kids got a chance to read a clue. All the kids were so well behaved and it was such a great day.
