Bread Buildings and Fabulous Furniture

Well today I journeyed north.  I actually drove up to LA.  Some days LA seems so close, other days so far.  I love knowing that I can be there if I need too.  Well today I said I am going somewhere I have been wanting to go for a long time.  And awhile back I had blogged about a new store I had heard about HD Buttercup.  I must say it was wonderful.  It is located in an old Bread factory called Helm’s Bakeries.

HD Buttercup has a great marquee sign that is really well done.

I love all the Industrial Modern design they have.  This is so my style right now.  I love seeing it so well done.  I love the globes, the beakers, the steel cabinets, the vintage signs.  I was in a little bit of heaven.  Then I walked to the back of the store and saw more.  And there was even an engine coffee table and transmission light fixture.

I called the section below the man cave area.  It just reeked of man cave.  They from the British Flag sofa to the leather chairs with riveted metal details.  I love this bottle chandelier.  They also had all these big glass urns with a single tea leaf in them horizontally.  Wonderful…

The bonus was after I left and rounded the corner to see what else was in this building.  I discovered Room & Board.  My Mom has been telling me next trip down we need to go there.  And here one was.  It has fabulous furniture too.
