Deer Huntress Child’s Birthday Party
So my lil blossom’s deer huntress party was a success. For me the planning is the funnest. I just sort of winged it on this one. I wanted to do something non-traditional, but unique and fun.
I took a quick trip to Shinoda Design Center
which in it’s self is a very fun time. I found some fun bags of sheet moss and cool feathers there.
I also ventured to Do it with Icing, a cake supply store down in Clairemont Mesa, San Diego. At Do it with Icing I picked up some cool deer cup cake toppers and also candy rocks. They also sell lots of pre-made fondants, icing, candy molds and cake packaging supplies.

So when I went to upload all my photos after the party, my slr, Nikon decided that it was going to eat half of my precious photos. I have been having a lot of problems with my flash card in the camera (this is my third card) and low and behold more than half of my photos were corrupt. I was able to rescue some and luckily my father in law had captured some great shots. Some of the shots I was most excited about the bow and arrow shots were lost. WE made leather and feather headdresses, bamboo bow and arrows and shot a target with suction cup bow and arrows. The kids and adults loved the bow and arrow shooting.
